Fog
The exhibition space named Fog, from the exhibition In Transit under curatorship of Priscila Arantes, was presented by a video and a series of photographs on cotton paper, made in a crossing between Switzerland and Germany in 2015. A natural fragment of the contours of the world. As the images lose their definition, they gain density, as if it were a fog that could confer materiality to the two-dimensional. In these photos, the horizon, this defining line of the landscape genre, vanishes amid shades of gray, remembering the very nebulosity of memory.
Fog
O espaço expositivo que recebeu o nome de Fog, da exposição Em Trânsito sob curadoria Priscila Arantes, foi apresentado por um vídeo e uma série de fotografias em papel algodão, feitas em uma travessa entre Suíça e Alemanha em 2015. Um fragmento natural dos contornos do mundo. A medida em que as imagens perdem a definição ganham densidade, como se fosse uma neblina fora capaz de conferir materialidade ao bidimensional. Nessas fotos, o horizonte, essa linha definidora do gênero paisagem, desvanece-se em meio a tons de cinza, lembrando a própria nebulosidade da memória.
